made over the years, it would be quite an expensive and arduous task

been the rising price of gold which has kept prices fluctuating constantly,
making it impossible to print a catalog which remains accurate for long.
There is a retail catalog in the works for the future, but it will only include
a sampling of the most popular Black hills Gold styles made by Landstroms.

However, now you can download and print our FREE online color catalog
in .pdf format. Though it doesn't have everything Landstroms makes, it does
have everything currently on our website. And as we continually add more
and more products to our website, the catalog will update automatically and

Price increase effective October 12, 2009

With Gold currently trading near 18-month highs, Landstroms has announced that they will raise prices across the board on their entire line of jewelry effective October 12, 2009. Landstroms has been doing their best to keep prices low, but since a large percentage of Landstroms' pieces are comprised of gold, it's simply unavoidable that their jewelry prices will increase as gold rises. Expect increases of between 5 and 10% on most gold pieces, depending on their individual gold content. Silver has been on the rise as well, but not as sharply as gold, so some very good values can be found in Black Hills Silver. In fact now is the time to buy your Black Hills Gold Christmas jewelry, before prices increase!

The fact that these precious metals will cost a bit more starting in October isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's expected that gold will continue to increase in value as inflation returns to a recovering world economy. This means your Black Hills Gold jewelry will continue to grow in value over the years.

list of entries from the blog, forum or podcast you've
subscribed to.

How do you find the RSS address of the site you
want to subscribe to? Easy! Usually there's a link
or a button on the blog page that says "RSS" or
"Subscribe to our feed" or you may just see the
following symbol:

Simply click one of these links and your browser
will open a page with the RSS Address, and often
even provide you with click-able buttons to add
directly to your favorite reader, whether it's Google
Reader, My AOL, My Yahoo!, My MSN, etc.

You can get started by adding our RSS Address to
your favorite reader today:

Selecting the right Mothers ring or pendant used to mean going to our Mothers and Family jewelry page, and then clicking on various photos of attractive items sometimes only to find out that the particular style you've selected wasn't available with the number of birthstones you need. Some rings and pendants can only accommodate so many birthstones, and some have a minimum number of birthstones to maintain the aesthetic balance of the piece. This usually meant you had to click, click, click....

... until now!

With our new Mothers Jewelry selection matrix, finding the right Mothers ring or pendant is a breeze. You just select the number of birthstones stones you need from the column on the left and the chart tells you which Mothers rings and Mothers pendants are available with that number of birthstones.

From here, it's a simple matter to open a new browser window or tab for each item and either add your selection to your cart or even bookmark each page for later viewing.

When will the price of gold stop skyrocketing?

Likely, no time soon. In fact the price of silver has recently begun to soar as well. With the rapidly developing world and the continuing increase in population, the costs of all commodities and natural resources are at all time highs. And with the economic stresses of the past couple of years and the likelihood of rising worldwide inflation, the rising price of precious metals is certain to continue for some time to come before flattening out.

That said, you may have also noticed on our website that increased prices for Landstroms Black Hills Gold jewelry went into effect on December 30th. Regrettably, we had no other choice but to make these changes. It's been over six months since Landstrom's last price increase on June 7th, 2010 and gold and silver have been on a steady incline ever since.

Landstroms has held out as long as possible to make this change and made the commitment to do so only after the Christmas Holiday to allow customers to get the best possible prices on their Black Hills Gold gifts.

However, the Holidays are over and the new prices are now in effect.
